Research Direction:

The Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Research Group uses patch clamp techniques to study the function of ion channels in the cardiovascular system and related cardiovascular diseases. The main research directions include:
1) Identification of novel ion channels and their in vivo functions.
2) Gene therapy of cardiac ion channelopathy.
3) ATP-sensitive potassium channel in cardioprotection.
